Super Lawyers, an independent attorney rating service, announced that Anne Schools was selected as a 2015 Rising Star for Family Law lawyers and Tom Douglas was selected as a 2015 Super Lawyer.
Super Lawyers uses a three-step evaluation process that includes nomination by fellow attorneys, evaluation by an independent attorney-led research team and individual evaluations based on practice area. Of attorneys who are nominated, only 5% are selected as Super Lawyers, and only 2.5% are selected as Rising Stars.
Attorney Anne Schools said receiving recognition from fellow attorneys is only part of the reward she gets as a family law attorney, “It is always nice to be recognized by a group with the stringent assessments of Super Lawyers,” she said. “But the greatest rewards in my career come with my clients. Whether it’s the positive outcome of an adoption or the peaceful resolution of a divorce settlement, it’s knowing that we’ve done the best we can do for our clients.”
